Win Back Hours Every Week and Hand the Repetitive Work to AI

We get your people using AI properly, put AI agents on your high-volume processes, and build bespoke software where nothing off the shelf fits. Built into the day job, not bolted on.

To handle a job, with an AI agent

Valorem First, based in Glasgow, builds AI into how businesses work: AI tools your people actually use, AI agents that take on high-volume processes, and bespoke software where nothing off the shelf fits. Most clients start with a Rapid AI Assessment, which takes two to four weeks and shows where AI will pay back first.

AI Already at Work for Our Clients

Job Requests by Email

An agent reads each job request in a shared mailbox, gathers the missing context and sends a ready job to approve.

✓ 20 minutes of copying → a 30 second review

Company Data in Plain English

People ask questions of live company data in plain English instead of waiting on a report.

✓ Answers without the report queue

AI Across a Whole Business

Claude across the whole business, a knowledge base for tenders, automatic meeting notes and AI-assisted take-offs for estimating.

✓ Changing how people work day to day

Document Checks at Volume

Documents checked for accuracy and consistency in the background, at a volume nobody could check by hand.

✓ Checks nobody could do by hand

What AI Is Worth

Across our clients, these are our current estimates for how AI is improving businesses across the board.

3 to 5 hrs
Back per person, every week
With AI tools, for knowledge workers who use them properly
60 to 80%
Less handling time
When an AI agent takes on a repetitive process
Weeks
To working bespoke software
Not months, at a fraction of the usual cost

What We Do

Every engagement includes the training, policy and governance that make AI stick, and support once it is live.

AI Tools

For teams with no AI capability yet. Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot set up properly, with training and guardrails so people actually use them. Time back with no new systems.

For example:

Meeting notes and actions that write themselves
First drafts of reports, specs and tender responses
Month-end reconciliations and commentary started for you

AI Workforce

For painful, high-volume processes. AI agents that do the work, not just help with it, so your headcount stops growing in step with volume.

For example:

A mailbox agent that turns job requests into jobs ready to approve
Voice agents that take calls, qualify leads and run interviews
Drawings read, renamed and filed to your naming convention

Bespoke AI

For processes stuck in spreadsheets or workarounds. Software built for exactly how you work, such as quoting, surveying or holiday management tools.

What you get:

A working version in weeks, not months
A fraction of the cost of traditional development
You own the code

How It Starts

Small first steps, proven before anything scales

01

Rapid AI Assessment, 2 to 4 weeks

We look at your processes, people and data across six dimensions, including one-to-one interviews with your people by George, and tell you where AI will pay back first, and in what order. Get in touch to find out the cost.

02

A Pilot on One Process

Usually AI tools, because they prove value fastest. Licences, training and guardrails together, so people actually use them.

03

Scale What Works

Agents and bespoke builds on your biggest processes, with the policy, governance and support that keep them working as things change.

Discovery Interviews With George

George is our AI interviewer. He talks to your people one to one by phone to find the opportunities, pain points and friction in your business.

Ring When It Suits

Each person rings a dedicated number and talks to George one to one, usually for 20 to 30 minutes. Nothing to schedule and nothing to install.

What He Listens For

Where time goes, the workarounds people invented to cope, the fixes that stalled, and how people see AI.

What You Get

A written findings report that brings every interview together, with our recommendations on what to fix first. Part of our Rapid AI Assessment, or on its own.

Not a Phone Menu

When one of our own team first rang George, they expected the automated voice you get when you ring a bank. It was nothing like that.

Like talking to someone at Valorem First

George interviews you, listens and follows up on what you say, like a member of our team who wants to understand your business. Ring him on 0141 673 5900 and hear it for yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a Rapid AI Assessment take?

Two to four weeks. At the end you know where you are now across six dimensions, what to do first and in what order.

How much does a Rapid AI Assessment cost?

It is a paid assessment. Get in touch with William Pearce, Digital Transformation Architect, at william.pearce@valoremfirst.com and we will tell you the cost for your business.

What is the difference between AI Tools and AI Workforce?

AI Tools help your people do their existing work faster, which gives them time back. AI Workforce agents do the work themselves, for example reading a mailbox and preparing each job for approval, which adds capacity that holds as volume grows.

Which AI tools do you work with?

Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot for everyday work, alongside Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Notion, NotebookLM and Granola. For agents and bespoke software we connect AI to your own systems and data.

Is it safe to use AI with our business data?

It can be, with the right rules in place. We write a short acceptable use policy covering which tools are approved, what staff can put into them, what needs a human check and who signs off, and we work through data residency, retention and what the AI may say to a customer before anything goes live.

Who owns the bespoke software you build?

You do. You own the code.

How long does an interview with George take?

Interviews are flexible, but most take 20 to 30 minutes. Each person rings a dedicated number when it suits them.

Is George like an automated phone line?

No. George holds a real conversation: he asks questions, listens and follows up on what you say. It feels more like talking to someone at Valorem First who wants to understand your business.
